Nacogdoches police: Man resisted arrest, found with gun in pocket

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A 25 year-old Nacogdoches man was arrested late Saturday night after police say he would not cooperate and was found with a gun in his pocket.

Marlon Green is in the Nacogdoches County Jail for resisting arrest, felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful carry of a weapon and failure to identify. As of 2 p.m. on Sunday a bond was not set.

According to the Nacogdoches Police media report, officers were called out around midnight to the parking lot of Club Kamizos 1000 block of E. Main St. in reference to a noise complaint. The report states that when officers arrived they located Green, but he gave them false information about his identity. According to Police, when they tried to place Green under arrest he actively resisted the officer. The report continues stating that when officers finally has Green in custody, they found a gun in his pocket.

The report concludes that Green did not have a license to carry the pistol and had multiple felonies.
