Nacogdoches family dispute ends with knife attack, 2 arrests

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Two Nacogdoches family members are in jail after police said a dispute ended with one of them being attacked with a knife.

According to the Nacogdoches police media report, Courtney Pleasant, 37, and Oksana Pleasant, 18, were booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail Saturday night.

The report states that officers were called out to the 1500 block of Timberlake Saturday around 9:18 p.m. Police said after they talked to the residents of the home they determined Oksana assaulted Courtney. Police said Courtney would return later with a knife and assaulted Oksana. The report stated minor injuries occurred.

Courtney Pleasant is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of public intoxication. Oksana Pleasant is being charged with assault by threat/contact.

Bond has not been set at this time.
