LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - What's in a name? For Charm, we're talking tons of cuddle action.
"Charm is a really sweet girl. She gets along with the rest of the cats, so she would probably be good in a household that already has some other cats," said Mike Stephens, the executive director, Humane Society of Angelina County.
But if not, no need to fret! The quite bashful 1-year-old has no trouble warming up.
"She likes to be loved on. She likes to be held and so she's going to be looking for somebody to give her some attention," Stephens said.
And that distinct pattern of her coat is not there by mistake. It comes from genetics because she's a calico mix.
"There's not going to be any two alike. They're easy to tell apart," Stephens said.
It's just another of her "charming" qualities.
Charm was surrendered by her past owner a little over a week ago. Like all cats, she is notoriously independent, but here's something to keep in mind.
"They do have health issues. Most people think about taking their dogs in and having their annual check-ups, but cats need that as well," Stephens said.
That's nothing a little TLC can't cure.
The adoption fee for Charm is only $80. If you're interested in adopting little Charm, the process is quite simple.
