Texas Trash Off

Several groups and individual volunteers strapped on orange vests and set out to pick up trash and make our highways a little cleaner Saturday morning as part of the 20th annual Texas Trash Off program.

Volunteers we spoke with say litter is becoming a problem, and if you can, you should try and help out.

Adam Schultz, a volunteer for the Texas Trash Off, said, "if you got the time to do it, I mean a lot of people are working and everything so they can't, but if you got the time, I think it's a good thing to come out here and do it."

The Don't Mess With Texas Trash Off is one of the largest volunteer litter cleanups in the nation.
