NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office arrested a 44-year-old man Sunday after he allegedly bit his father on the arm hard enough to leave a mark.
Patrick Alexander Center, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a third-degree felony injury to the elderly. His bail amount has been set at $15,000.
According to the Nacogdoches Sheriff's Office daily activity report, NCSO deputies were dispatched out to a home in the 10,700 block of FM 941 at about 1:49 p.m. Sunday in reference to a disturbance.
When they got to the scene, the 67-year-old complainant told them that Centers, his son, had bitten him on the arm. The deputies noticed a cut on the man's arm, and they arrested Centers at the scene.
According to the arrest affidavit, Centers and his father got into a fight after Centers started yelling and trying to his 12-year-old son away. Because the father knew about Center's mental history and his irate state, the father tried to step between Centers and his son. During the fight, Centers allegedly grabbed the victim's left arm and bit it.
Centers was taken to the county jail.
