Nacogdoches PD: Woman stabs man in stomach during argument

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Officers with the Nacogdoches Police Department arrested a 42-year-old woman early Monday morning after she allegedly stabbed a man in the stomach during an argument.

LaDonna Michelle Barlow, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a second-degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bail amount has been set at $15,000.

According to the Nacogdoches Police Department’s daily activity report, NPD officers responded to a disturbance at an apartment in the 300 block of Ellington Street at about 3:51 a.m. Monday.

When the officers got to the scene, they learned that Barlow had allegedly gotten into an argument with the man before she stabbed him in the stomach with a knife.

The man refused medical treatment and transport to the hospital.

Barlow was arrested at the scene and taken to the county jail.
