LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A two-vehicle wreck involving a rollover has stalled traffic on the southern part of Lufkin Tuesday afternoon.

Lufkin police have shut down westbound traffic on Whitehouse Drive on the loop overpass. The service road from Outback Steakhouse to Cracker Barrel is also shut down.

According to the Lufkin Police Department, Hellen Fingelman, 79, of Liberty was driving a Chrysler Town and Country minivan on South First Street when she ran a red light and struck a black Cadillac SRX driven by Miranda Arnold, 24, of Lufkin, causing it to flip. A Lufkin PD spokesperson said that Arnold had a green light and had the right of way.

Emergency medical personnel checked Arnold out at the scene; however, she was transported to the hospital.

Fingelman will be cited for running the red light.

The scene has been cleared, and traffic is flowing again.
