LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - It's not goodbye, just see you later, for one East Texas physician on the job for 30 years right here in Lufkin.
Doctor David Glenn has practiced internal medicine in the Pineywoods since 1986, and on Thursday, he'll hang up his stethoscope.
He'll head just down the hall of CHI St. Luke's Memorial hospital though, assuming his new role as president and chief medical officer of Memorial Clinics.
With a patient roster of around 850, Glenn says the past 30 years have certainly been memorable.
"I've had wonderful colleagues, wonderful nurses, a great hospital to work in. I just couldn't get any happier," Glenn said.
Using his 30 years of experience in the medical field, Glenn will be the physician voice and liaison between the Memorial Clinic's physician partners and the hospital.
