STILLWATER, OK- Former Stephen F. Austin State University men's basketball coach Brad Underwood announced the hiring of Danny Henderson as an assistant coach under him at Oklahoma State University.
Henderson is a Longview native who established a winning tradition in Texas as a former high school basketball coach. He recorded over 700 wins and four state titles. Henderson coached at Flower Mound Marcus High School where players like Marcus Smart and Phil Forte played under him.
For the past three years, Henderson has been coaching at Boise State. The Broncos won at least 20 games each year. He worked on the defensive side of the game and their post players.
Underwood told OSU athletics he believes Henderson will bring his recruiting ties from Texas over to Stillwater.

Underwood hired his assistant coach at SFA, Mike Boynton Jr., on Wednesday. Underwood has also hired Lamont Evans as an assistant coach. Evans is coming from South Carolina.
