NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

There are hundreds of talented artists in East Texas. Some choose to support and join the prestigious organization, Watercolor East Texas, commonly referred to as WET.

The artists, from all over the region, work hard this time of year raising funds for the summer annual show.

On Saturday, the artists aren't painting, but rather serving up a spaghetti dinner. Raffle tickets for special items and a silent auction will be held, too.

"This fundraiser will help fund the awards we give at the show,” Peggy Fare, a WET member. “In addition to our show, we are now establishing a scholarship for an art student who is in the art school at Stephen F. Austin State University."
