TRINITY, TX (KTRE) - A Trinity man has been arrested after he allegedly got into a fight with another man and shot him in the arm.
According to Chief Steven Jones of the Trinity Police Department, the incident on Saturday at a home on Caroline Street.
Trinity Police arrested 27-year-old Christopher Yesh on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities said Yesh and the victim got into an altercation on a porch with a 23-year-old man. Yesh then allegedly shot the victim in the arm and walked home and went to sleep.
Jones said it was not until the hospital contacted the Trinity Police Department that authorities were notified of the shooting. Yesh turned himself in Monday afternoon.
No bond has been set for Yesh at this time.
