LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin residents will soon have a new neighbor in town.
According to Assistant City Manager Steve Floyd, permits have been accepted by the city that will allow for Neighbors ER to move into the city. The emergency facility in being built on the west loop at the intersection of Frank Ave. According to Cliff Phillips, Superintendent of Burton Construction, the facility has a completion and planned opening date of Sept. 9.
Neighbors is based out of Pearland with 25 current locations in Texas and Colorado, with several more scheduled to open across Texas over the next year.
