From Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers
DIBOLL, TX (News Release) - At approximately 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3rd, an unidentified man robbed Temple Federal Credit Union in Diboll, and Crime Stoppers wants to pay a reward, in cash, for information that leads to the man's arrest.
Employees described the criminal as a thin-build, younger-looking black male who stands approximately 5-feet-7 inches tall. He was wearing a black toboggan, black jacket, dark, baggy pants, dark shoes with white soles, gold-rimmed sunglasses, and red earbud headphones.
The employees were concerned that the man was armed but a weapon was not displayed. He waved an unreadable note at the employees and then demanded they open their cash drawers. The employees wisely complied with his demands and were left shaken but unharmed when he took the money and fled.
The man was last seen traveling on foot headed south from the bank.
Crime Stoppers received several anonymous tips soon after the robbery occurred, but investigators determined that the persons named in those tips were not involved in the crime.
