LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin police have arrested a woman charged with first-degree drug charges and her son after he allegedly tried to keep officers from arresting her Sunday morning.

According to the police report, officers tried to arrest Robin Louise Griffin, 39, on a first-degree charge of delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, in the 100 block of North Timberland Drive at 9 a.m.

The report states Julious Griffin, 17, grabbed the arm of an officer who was arresting his mother and resisted arrest himself.

The son is charged with interference with public duties and resisting arrest.

The mother's charge stems from an undercover investigation in which she is accused of selling PCP to an undercover informant.

Robin Griffin is being held on a $50,000 bail. Her son has posted a collective bail of $3,000.
