POLK COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office arrested a 46-year-old Livingston woman on three misdemeanor charges Sunday night after she allegedly got drunk at a man's house and tore down an American flag because she was asked to leave.
Stephanie Rae Daniel was booked into the Polk County Jail on two destruction of a US or Texas flag charges and a disorderly conduct charge.
Chief Deputy Byron Lyons said Daniel was at a man's house and got too drunk. He wanted her to leave, and PCSO deputies ordered her to leave.
Undeterred, Daniel came back to the man's house. When he wouldn't let her back in, she started tearing stuff up, Lyons said. In the process, she allegedly torn down an American flag and damaged it.
