LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman is behind bars after she allegedly assaulted her ex-boyfriend around 5:30 Sunday morning.
Lufkin Police Department's Sgt. Dale Jowell said 37-year-old Tiffany Jackson was supposed to be giving him a ride to Dallas the next day.
Officials said the victim woke up only to find Jackson assaulting him. That's when the victim ran out of the house.
Jackson allegedly chased him down the street with a knife and then got in her car and tried to run him over. The report states she ran into her carport instead.
Jackson is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She has a bond set at the Angelina County Jail at $15,000.
Jowell said Jackson also had over 10 warrants for assault and traffic related violations.
