Lufkin PD: Woman bit grandma on chest after argument over child discipline

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Officers with the Lufkin Police department arrested a 22-year-old woman Monday afternoon after she allegedly got into a fight with her grandmother over how to discipline a child and bit her on the chest.

Taylor Rena Barlow, of Lufkin, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on a Class A misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury -family member charge. Her bail amount has been set at $1,500.

According to the Lufkin Police Department’s daily activity report, the incident happened at a house in the 200 block of Broaddus Street at about 2:56 p.m. Monday. Barlow was arrested after she allegedly bit her grandmother on the chest after a heated argument about child discipline.
