DALLAS, TX (KTRE) - Dez Bryant's former landlord and current Texas state senator Royce West is suing the Dallas Cowboy for damage to West's rental home, according to The Dallas Morning News.
The publication reports West complained his 6,400-square-foot DeSoto home was "littered with trash and feces, missing blinds and shutters, with cracked windows and blackened carpeting" after Bryant moved out in January.
After Bryant moved out, West invited Bryant's representatives to perform a walk-through of the home with him but nobody showed up, according to court documents.
West said he had to remove trash from the inside and outside of the home, re-paint the entire home and replace the flooring, lighting, ceiling fans, a number of windows and screens, the security system, doors, garage locks, the gate, shutters and repair landscaping.
In the complaint, West said Bryant has refused to compensate for the damages.
