Man, girlfriend accused of setting up sexual assault on mentally disabled woman in Diboll

DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) - A Vidor man is in the Angelina County Jail, accused of sexually assaulting a mentally disabled woman at his Diboll apartment on several occasions.

William Thomas Walley, 54, is charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault.

According to an arrest affidavit, Walley's girlfriend would help set up the sexual encounters with the girl.

The affidavit states the woman is 24 years old but has the mental development of a 10-year-old.

According to the affidavit, Walley sexually assaulted the woman on several occasions of a few days span, using several different sexual methods.

The affidavit states the woman would tell the girl how to get into different positions to have sex with him.

According to the affidavit, the woman had a SANE exam at Harold's House and she was still bleeding from the assaults.

The affidavit states Walley gave the woman two rings and threatened her to not tell anyone about the assaults. It also states the girlfriend attempted suicide for having let the assaults occur.

Diboll police obtained a warrant for Walley's arrest on Friday. He was booked into the jail on Sunday. His bail has not yet been set.
