Former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt needs votes for MLB All-Star Game roster spot
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTRE) -
East Texas native Brandon Belt is one-of-five final vote candidates for the 2016 MLB-All Star Game. In order to make in appearance in the All-Star game, Belt must win the voting contest.
Running against Belt for the final National League roster spot is outfielder Ryan Braun with the Brewers, third basemen Jake Lamb with the Diamondbacks, outfielder Starling Marte with the Pirates, and shortstop Trevor Story with the Rockies.
