ARLINGTON, TX - Two Texas Rangers will make an appearance in the 2016 MLB All-Star Game. Cole Hamels and Ian Desmond have been named to the American League team.
This is the fourth time Hamels has been selected for this all-star showcase. The right handed pitcher is 9-2 on the year, with a 2.93 ERA and has recorded 105 strikeouts.
Desmond has been listed as a reserve. This his second nomination. The second basemen has slammed 15 homeruns this year with 52 RBI's.
