One dead, three injured in Jasper County boat crash - KTRE.com | Lufkin and Nacogdoches, Texas

A man is dead and three others injured after a boat crash Tuesday night on Lake Sam Rayburn in Jasper County.
Jasper County Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Warden Justin Eddins confirmed the crash happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday near the Twin Dikes boat ramp. Eddins said a woman suffered serious head injuries, and two children were also injured.
Eddins said Wednesday that the the man who died in the boating accident has been identified as Todd Cross, of Orange County. Casey Thibodeaux, also of Orange County, was taken to a Beaumont hospital for treatment of serious head injuries. Eddins didn't have an update on the conditions of the two children.
Eddins said after an investigation, "It appears [the boat] hit an island."
Identities are being withheld at this time.
A Texas Parks & Wildlife storm team is en route to the scene of the boating accident. They will be reconstructing the accident to determine what happened, Eddins said.
