LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin man featured recently for his love of driving his motorcycle at 101 years old has died.
Ben Mock Jr. died Tuesday in Lufkin.
Mock was featured in an April KTRE report when he turned 101 and could still be seen driving his Goldwing motorcycle around town.
Mock said he got his first motorcycle, a Harley Davidson, in 1927.
"They look at me and say, 'Man you're not 100 years old' and, 'You're still riding a bike? Are you afraid of it?' I say, 'Anytime I get afraid of riding a bike you will see it out sitting with a sign on it for sale,'" Mock said in the April interview.
Services for Mock will be held Saturday in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel.
