LIVINGSTON, TX (KTRE) - A Livingston woman has begun a six-month state jail sentence after pleading guilty to charges related to exposing her baby to meth in February.
Jessy Erin Reeves, 25, pleaded guilty on July 13 to endangering a child and possession of a controlled substance. She will serve two six-month sentences concurrently.
Her husband, Jason Elliott Reeves, 36, of Livingston, is scheduled for a July 27 court date.
According to a previous story, deputies spoke to Jason Reeves on Feb. 10 and asked him about dealing meth from his home. Reeves said he did have meth at his home and went to retrieve it from where he thought it was but could not find it, according to the affidavit.
According to the affidavit, Reeves asked Jessy Reeves where the meth was and she told him she put them in a cabinet outside the bedroom.
According to the affidavit, Reeves admitted to using meth with Bycroft.
The couple's baby, who is less than a year old, tested positive for meth.
