TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Deputies with the Trinity County Sheriff's Office have arrested a woman accused of hitting her child's father with a level and baseball bat during an argument early Monday.

Emily Zahn, 26, is charged with second-degree aggravated assault.

According to the report, Zahn had been arguing with the father of her children and at some point hit him with a level across his back, before doing the same with a baseball bat.

The report states Zahn threatened to hit the man's car with the bat, but he managed to get the bat away from her.

Zahn called law enforcement to the Jungle Village subdivision but ended up being the one arrested.
