Sunday marks the beginning of Child Immunization Week.
Immunizations are said to be among the most important things parents can do to protect their child's health. Doctors say it not only keeps them in good health, but can sometimes save their lives.
Dr. Robert D. Healing, a pediatrician, said, "all of them pretty much are deadly. Some are faster than others. Tetanus, I've seen some cases of tetanus that a patient can die in less than two days."
