Lufkin Man Arraigned On Aggravated Robbery Charges

Bond is set for a Lufkin man accused of using a fake weapon in two separate robberies over the weekend.

Fifty-four year-old David Alexander is in the Angelina County jail on $15,000 bond. Police say he pretended to have a gun when he allegedly robbed the Redland Grocery Store on Highway 59 North in Lufkin.

He reportedly went to the Expo Inn afterwards where he used the same fake weapon.

Alexander was arraigned Monday on aggravated robbery charges.
