The Diboll Lumberjacks went ‘lights out’ at their midnight madness practice Friday morning and the drills were intense for their first practice in pads.
The team got an hour of practice in before the stadium lights shut off.
Diboll had a good sense of humor about the technical difficulties and started playing ‘When the Lights Go Down in the City’ by Journey.
The breaker never kicked back in for the Lumberjacks to finish out practice, allowing the players to go back home and get back in bed.
Diboll enters the 2016 season with just four returning offensive starters and four defensive starters. Head Coach Blake Morrison said he’s excited about their run-game this year. They’ve been predicted to finished second in the District 8-4A.
