Victims' names released in 3-vehicle fiery wreck

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Two people are dead from a Wednesday evening wreck involving an 18-wheeler off US Highway 59 North, near River Crest Road, in Angelina County. 

Brenda Ramon, 40, of Laredo, and Thaddeus Warden, 43, of Lufkin, died at the scene around 7 p.m.

According to the DPS report, Gorrin Caballero, 43, of Laredo, was driving a commercial vehicle north on US 59 and had a blowout and crossed the grassy median and struck two southbound passenger cars. The vehicles involved caught fire and burned.

Ramon was a passenger in Caballero's truck. Three other passengers in the truck were taken to a Lufkin hospital and treated and released.

Warden was driving a 2013 Dodge.

The driver of the 2016 Jeep was Bria Jones, 21, of Houston. She was taken to a Lufkin hospital and was treated and released.
