NACOGDOCHES, TX (Press Release)- This summer, Stephen F. Austin men's basketball rising senior Dallas Cameron will be a guest writer on SFAJacks.com in order to detail the preparation the 'Jacks will go through for the 2016-17 season and his time in New Zealand with Athletes in Action. Below is the sixth entry in the summer blog series Discussions with Dallas, written by Cameron.

So far our trip in New Zealand has been such a great experience! We left Auckland and took a trip to Otago University in Dunedin. The campus was great and the people on campus were even better! We went around campus, surveying people about their spiritual beliefs, promoting our game, just talking to them and loving on them by get to know them more personally.

Our game went well as we had a great turnout and had our largest margin of victory! Dillion gave a great halftime speech where he shared his testimony and touched the lives of so many people in the audience. It's great to see the joy we bring just by playing a game that we love.

We had the opportunity to walk up the world's steepest street! I don't know about my teammates, but as I walked up the street my thighs and quads where on fire! We also went to Signal Hill and once we made it to the top, we enjoyed the beautiful view over the city! Just looking over the beauty of God's creation made me really appreciate this life and motivated me to keep working to bring people to know Christ so they too can experience peace in this life and reassurance in the life to come. Until next time 'Jack nation, Axe 'Em!
