It will be a while before any more is known about the future of the Abitibi paper mill in Lufkin.
Abitibi corporate leaders say they won't be making a decision about whether to re-open the mill until at least the end of June.
Among the items still holding up the process include coming up with a labor contract, finding a solution for an alternative fuel source, and getting updated permits for the plant. Lufkin city leaders are vowing to help Abitibi in any way possible to get the plant running again.
