By adding this Steak Lover’s Signature Rub by the Texas Beef Council's Shalene McNeil, you can add some serious flavor to your steaks and burgers without added calories!
Steak Lover’s Signature Steak Rub
Prep time: 3 to 5 min.
2.5 Tbsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. ground coffee
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. paprika
1.5 tsp. oregano leaves
2 tsp. minced garlic, dried
2 tsp. medium ground black pepper
1.5 tsp. coriander
1.5 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. ground ginger
2 Tbsp. Kosher salt
Mix ingredients in a bowl. Use for seasoning your favorite steaks.
Try this rub with Flank steak for fajitas or on Strip steak and simply paired with a side of grilled veggies and a green salad.
This rub is great on Flank steak, Strip steak, Flat Iron, Sirloin, Shoulder steak or even burgers.
