Nacogdoches High freshmen attend Fish Camp

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - About 450 incoming freshman got a VIP tour of Nacogdoches High School Friday.

The annual Fish Camp helps students familiarize themselves with the campus, the faculty, and most of all: the rules.

"If you're here and the bell is ringing, you're tardy," said Earrick Stigall, the assistant principal. "We want every freshman to be successful. We want every freshman that comes here to be ready for school to start and be successful during the year."

Academics and discipline will be stressed district-wide. First day of class is just 10 days away on August 22.
