Lufkin PD: Naked man admitted to using K2, meth before having sex on roof

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - After Lufkin Police officers arrested a naked man for public intoxication on Humason Avenue Monday, he allegedly admitted to having done K2 and methamphetamine before he had sex with a woman on the roof of a nearby home.

Ricky Dale Brimer Jr., 31, of Lufkin, was booked into the Angelina County Jail on a misdemeanor public intoxication charge Monday. He was released from the jail Tuesday after he posted a bail amount of $500.

According to the Lufkin Police Department's daily activity report, the incident happened in the 100 block of Humason Avenue sometime between 10:05 a.m. and 3:43 p.m. Monday.

A Lufkin PD officer was stopped at the intersection of Humason Avenue and Timberland Drive when he heard a yell. He looked in his rearview mirror and saw a man who was later identified as Brimer standing there naked, the report stated. Brimer was allegedly trying to cover his privates with a piece of carpet.

"When officers made contact with Brimer, they noticed that he was paranoid, twitchy and had bloody scratches on his arms and torso," the report stated.

According to the report, Brimer told the LPD officers that he had been on the roof of a nearby home "having sexual relations with a woman." He also allegedly told them he had fallen off the roof and hurt his chest.

A neighbor came outside at that point and gave the LPD officers some pants for Brimer to wear.

Later, Brimer admitted that he had used K2 and meth earlier that day, the report stated.

After Brimer was cleared medically, he was taken to the county jail.
