When you're rushing around getting everyone ready for school soon, you'll be happy to have this recipe in your arsenal. It's easy to make and bakes in 30 minutes while you're getting ready for the day. Plus, your house will smell fabulous while it bakes!
Breakfast monkey bread with bacon, egg and cheese
6 large eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons butter
1 can refrigerated biscuits (about 16 ounces)
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 package precooked bacon, chopped
4 or 5 green onions, chopped (optional)
?1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a bundt pan with cooking spray.
2. Make scrambled eggs: in a non-stick pan, scramble eggs until done but still moist. Set aside.
3. Melt the butter in small microwaveable bowl, and set aside.
4.. Cut biscuits into about six pieces per biscuit, and place in a bowl. Drizzle with the melted butter, and toss to coat.
5. Begin layering ingredients into bundt pan. Place half of biscuits across bottom, then layer half the cheese, half the bacon, all of the eggs, the onions, then remaining cheese and bacon and then the rest of the biscuit dough.
6. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350 until biscuit dough on top is golden brown. Allow to sit in pan for five minutes before turning out of pan. Loosen edges with knife before flipping out onto plate.
