Lufkin PD: Someone broke into Target, stole $7K worth of electronics

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A suspect or suspects broke into the Lufkin Target early Monday morning and stole more than $7,000 worth of electronics.

According to the Lufkin Police Department's daily activity report, a Lufkin PD officer was on patrol near the target store located at 4200 S. Medford Drive when he noticed that someone had shattered one of the glass front doors.

After Lufkin PD officers cleared the building to make sure the suspect wasn't still inside, they discovered that the suspect or suspects shattered an electronics display case and stole more than $7,000 worth of iPods, iPads, Apple watches, and a TV the report stated. An estimated $300 worth of damage was done to the display case.
