Angelina County Chamber announces new acts for Texas State Forest Festival

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

The Lufkin/ Angelina County Chamber of Commerce have released all the new acts that were added to this year’s Texas State Forest Festival.

This year’s festival will feature at least six new entertainment shows for the entire family.

“We have a lot of great new entertainment this year at the 32nd annual Texas state forest festival,” said Lufkin/Angelina Chamber Marketing Manager, Tori Charanza. “One including the canine star stunt dog show. They are adopted and rescued dogs that do a bunch of different tricks and stunts like dock diving, agility, and Frisbee tosses.”

Some of the other new acts include the Great Bear Show, which is the oldest and longest running wild animal educational show. The AXE women loggers of Maine, are world xhampion choppers and ax throwers. The Magic Bean is an agriculture magic show aimed at teaching children about agriculture and how things go “from farm to kitchen.” There will also be a new entertainment activity called the Kid’s Pedal Tractor Pull, which is a fun activity where you can cheer on the kids as they pull with all their might to race to the finish line.

The 32nd annual Texas State Forest Festival runs from September 21 to 25,2016.
