NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - An affectionate, loving pooch is looking to be your morning cup of Joe.
If you're looking for a companion that has it all, look no further.
"He's one of those dogs that you don't come across as much," said Nacogdoches Animal Shelter Animal Control Officer Torion Johnson. "When you come across a dog that gets along with every animal, it's best to have it."
Joe is a 3-year-old Irish wolfhound mix that loves people and all pets.
"He is very sweet, loving, and playful," Johnson said. "He loves kids, dogs, and he loves cats. This guy loves attention."
Joe is a friendly and fun pup who is a very good listener.
"He is a smart dog," Johnson said. "He listens very well. He knows to sit when you tell him. He knows a lot of different commands."
If you have a family with kids, then he'll fit right in.
"He's playful," Johnson said. "Take him out in the backyard and let him run around with the kids. I guarantee you all of them will be tired by the end of the day."
If you're interested in adopting Joe, just contact the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter located at 3211 SW Stallings Drive.
They're open Monday to Saturday but are closed on Sundays.
