Man Who Led Police In Car Chase Has Been Indicted

A 27-year-old man who led police on a car chase through East Texas back in October has now been indicted.

Ronnie Boyett is facing three counts of aggravated assault of a public servant.

The Lewisville man was initially stopped by police for an obstructed license plate. That is when the chase started. Boyett led police on a twenty minute chase on Highway 69 beginning South of Alto and ending just North of Lufkin.

The spikes stopped Boyett. That is when police took him into custody.

Boyett remains in jail.
