NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A traffic stop Nacogdoches police officers made on East Main Street Sunday evening resulted in a felony drug arrest.

Jlen Dwon Richardson, 21, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams charge and a Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces charge. No bail amount has been set at this time.

According to the Nacogdoches Police Department’s daily activity report, NPD officers stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of East Main Street at about 7:40 p.m. Sunday on a traffic violation. After the officers decided the vehicle needed to be towed, they did an inventory and found what they suspected was ecstasy and marijuana.

Richardson was arrested at the scene and taken to the county jail.
