CENTER, TX (KTRE) - A traffic stop in Center on Aug. 24 resulted in two felony drug arrests and the seizure of 47 Ecstasy pills and a small amount of marijuana.
Corey Wilson, 31, and Marcus Booker, 32, were both arrested and charged with third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance analogue. Wilson was also charged with Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and three traffic warrants. Booker was also charged with third-degree felony tampering with or fabricating evidence.
According to the press release the Center Police Department sent East Texas News on Tuesday, a Center Police officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle at the corner of Logansport and Walker streets on Aug. 24. After the officer noticed the vehicle's occupants acting "extremely nervous," he investigated further.
Wilson and Booker were found to be in possession of 47 Ecstasy pills and a small amount of marijuana, the press release stated.
Wilson and Booker were arrested at the scene and taken to the Center Police Department, where they were booked in on their charges.
