The Nacogdoches Dragons have one last game before their district season begins and they're making the most out of it. Penciled as our Red Zone Game of the Week, the Dragons are set to face Gilmer.
The Buckeyes might be a 4A but they're a notorious powerhouse. Gilmer has been running all over people averaging over 57 points a game.
“It's going to be a warfare. It's going to be great. It's going to be fun. We haven't played an offensive line as good as Gilmer's I don't think yet so it's going to be a fun game,” said Nacogdoches’ defensive tackle Ben Gibbs.
It's always a physical contest against the Buckeyes. With their dynamic offensive scheme, they're throwing out new things Nacogdoches said they haven't seen much of yet, but it will be a great learning experience before district.
“They've been throwing it over 40 times a game. That's a lot and so there's things we got to do. We got to get pressure on the quarterback and can't let him sit back there. They got really good receivers that can run and they’re very athletic.” said Nacogdoches head coach Bobby Reyes.
Nacogdoches will be the home team for this contest starting Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
