Lufkin Residents Are Angry About Swastikas On Their Road

The folks who live on McKindree Road in Lufkin want the spray painting of hateful symbols on their street to stop.

Several swastikas have been drawn in the neighborhood off Highway 103 East.  Neighbors are upset about the drawings and want whoever is responsible thrown in jail.  Some of them think gang members are behind the swastikas.

Linda Sweet said, "This is the community that I am living in and I would not like people to hate each other.  I would just like for people to be able to get along with each other.  I felt like it's a crime to be doing that."

Neighbors say the swastika paintings have been visible on McKindree Road for several weeks.
