Lufkin resident General Mike Taylor leaves this weekend for Iraq. He'll enter violence. This week more than 60 people have been killed there in a series of 'suicide attacks.'
Taylor spoke to the Nacogdoches Rotary Club where he talked about his job of taking care of the soldiers. He said our job at home is to take care of the families. "Our soldiers are connected back. I think what people can do is assist the families. The hardest part of the mission are not the soldiers in Iraq, it's the families that stay back home," said Taylor.
