LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police officers arrested a 23-year-old Nederland man on an indecency with a child charge Sunday after the teenage victim's father caught him in their living room with his unclothed daughter.
Blake Garrison Ybarbo was booked into the Angelina County Jail on a second-degree felony indecency with a child by sexual contact charge. He was released from the jail Tuesday after he posted a bail amount of $25,000.
According to the arrest affidavit, a Lufkin PD officer responded to an apartment complex on South John Redditt Drive at about 2:01 a.m. on Sunday in reference to an alleged sexual assault.
When the LPD officer arrived at the scene, he was told that the underage girl had invited Ybarbo to her home after she met him on a dating site. The alleged victim told officers that after Ybarbo arrived, they started playing Xbox games, the affidavit stated.
At that point, Ybarbo allegedly started kissing her and took her clothes off. According to the arrest affidavit, Ybarbo then touched her inappropriately.
The alleged victim's father told police that he came home and found his daughter and Ybarbo in his living room.
Ybarbo told the Lufkin PD officer that obtained the arrest warrant that the girl told him via Messenger that she was 18 before he drove to Lufkin from Nederland, the affidavit stated. Ybarbo allegedly admitted to taking the girl's clothes off and touching her inappropriately.
