LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Angelina County will host an event titled Jerky Making 101 on Monday.
Retired county agent and experienced jerky maker Mike Whiteman will share his safe and efficient methods on how to make great homemade jerky.
"You'll be able to save some money, you'll be able to again produce a product that's customized to what your family likes and what you want to do and you'll be able to control how much of it you make. Whiteman said.
The class will be on October 17th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Extension office in Lufkin.
