LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

The Winnie Berry Humane Society has a treat for pet owners.

The Humane Society is offering six-month vouchers which will include reduced rabies shots, vaccinations, and microchips for all of your animals.

The vouchers can been used at selected vets in East Texas.

Shelter organizers said it’s a deal you don’t want to miss.

“This is a great advantage to people because not only are you saving money, but you can redeem those for six months,”said Mike Stephens, the director of the Winnine Berrie Humane Society. “We want to make sure that animals in our community are healthy and taken care of.”

If you’re interested in getting your pup or cat signed up, the rabies clinic is open from October 17-22.

On Saturday, you can sign up without getting out of your car.

The drive-through clinic will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
