Murder Indictment

A murder indictment comes five years after a decomposed body was found on the banks of Sam Rayburn Reservoir.

Lonnie Lynn Johnson has been indicted for unlawful possession of a firearm and the 2000 murder of Wallace Ray Guthery.

Guthery's remains were discovered two months after family members had last seen him. Johnson was always a suspect, but wasn't served a warrant until lab tests came back a year after the murder. At the time, he was in prison for parole violation.

Investigators say jealousy appeared to be a motive in the murder case.
