NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A one-vehicle wreck has stalled traffic on U.S. Highway 59 in Nacogdoches County.
According to a press release from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the preliminary crash investigation shows that Jimmy Landrum, 71, of Diboll, was heading south on US 59 in a 2001 Toyota pickup when he crossed into the grass median. The report indicated that Landrum over-corrected to the right. Then his pickup crossed back over the southbound lanes of US 59, struck a fence, and rolled over several times before it struck a tree.
Landrum was taken to Nacogdoches Memorial for treatment of possible injuries.
The road was partially blocked for a short time, but it has since been reopened to normal traffic flow.
