JASPER COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

The Texas Department of Public Safety has released the name of the Magnolia Springs man who was killed in a one-vehicle rollover wreck in Jasper County Tuesday night.

According to a press release, DPS troopers in Jasper County were dispatched out to a one-vehicle rollover accident at about 7 p.m. Tuesday. The wreck occurred on FM 1005 about a half mile north of FM 252.

The preliminary crash investigation shows that Marshall Glenn Cooper, 58, was driving a 1998 Ford pickup west on FM 1005 when he left the road for an unknown reason. The pickup rolled over several times before it came to rest in a ditch.

Cooper was the only person in the truck when the wreck occurred.
